Waking up early morning is a good habit and I do follow it. I went out at about 5.30 am to shoot some landscapes as in winters the sunlight is soft which is ideal for me to go and shoot some photographs. I reached Kachari ghat in between 6.45 -7 am and when I got down there I was just amazed to see this massive 35 feet high statue of Ahom general Lachit Borphukan and his army and you can see the ferry service which starts very early from Kachari ghat, it takes passengers to the north banks of the Brahmaputra towards North Guwahati.

As I hardly get time to spend here in Guwahati as my service posting is 250 Kms far from Guwahati, So I come on weekends and my spirits are always high to go out and shoot specially early morning.
